BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS 2021

Bookings and Payments

  1. A non-refundable deposit (25% of total booking cost) must be paid per pitch per booking, or full payment if the total amount is less than £50.00.
  2. All bookings are made subject to availability on receipt of your booking.
  3. Balance to be paid 2 weeks before arrival.
  4. Bookings made within 1 week of arrival must be paid in full at time booking.
  5. You must advise us of your unit size, number of guests and number of dogs at the time of booking.
  6. We are unable to guarantee a specific pitch.
  7. Allocated pitches may change prior to arrival, but pitch type and size will remain the same.

Cancellations

  1. Bookings cancelled within 7 days prior to arrival will not be refunded.
  2. Bookings cancelled with 8 or more days’ notice prior to arrival well be refunded the total balance less the deposit or transferred to a new date within the same year, subject to availability.
  3. We strongly advise you take out adequate travel insurance to cover any cancellations.
  4. If you depart partway through your stay, no refunds will be given.

No shows

  1. If you do not arrive on your due date or contact us be 10am the following morning, we reserve the right to re-let the pitch. No refunds or re-booking will be offered (Including storage customers).

Check-in

  1. Strictly no arrivals before 2pm on the day of arrival unless otherwise arranged.
  2. Arrivals after 6pm must be prearranged at time of booking.
  3. Arrivals after 8pm or dusk, whichever is earlier, will be asked to use the overnight stay area and shown to your pitch the following morning.

Departures

  1. Pitches must be vacated by 11am on the day of departure unless otherwise arranged.
  2. All prepayment cards must be handed back.

Early arrivals and late departures

  1. Early arrivals and late departures are subject to availability and must be made at the time of booking. There is a small charge for this.

Pitches

  1. We are unable to guarantee a specific pitch.
  2. Allocated pitches may change prior to arrival, but the pitch type and size will remain the same.
  3. Our pitches allow for your caravan/ motorhome/ trailer tent, an awning and a car (depending on the size of your caravan/ motorhome/ trailer tent).
  4. Any unit pitched incorrectly will be asked to reposition, you will be shown the correct positioning on arrival.
  5. Only breathable groundsheets are permitted.
  6. Awnings must be securely fastened.
  7. Windbreaks may only be used if you do not have an awning.
  8. No washing or washing lines may be hung from any trees or branches.
  9. You must not wash your caravan/motorhome/trailer tent, or car on pitch.
  10. Continental Caravans must only be pitched with the A- Frame facing outwards.

Electrical hook-up points/ bollards

  1. All our hook-up points have a 10amp supply (Please remember this is not the same as household electrics).
  2. (Touring Only) Our hook-up points/bollards are based on a fair usage policy. The hook-up point will be pre-loaded with the equivalent of £1.50 per night (touring pitches only), any usage above this is chargeable via a top- up card. You must get this from reception. 
  3. To ensure the safe return of our top- up cards, an additional £15.00 fully refundable deposit will be taken at time of top- up.
  4. Refunds will be returned at the end of your stay when you check out.

Group Bookings and Visitors

  1. No group bookings will be accepted for the 2021 season.
  2. No visitors will be permitted before 21st June 2021.
  3. Visitors must park in the main car park and report to reception to be signed in. As we have limited parking spaces in the main car park, we kindly ask that any visitors with an extra car pay a small fee of £2.50 per car.
  4. Visitors with well behaved children are welcome between 10 am and 6 pm and must stay within the perimeter of the pitch. Adult visitors are welcome until 10 pm. Children visiting the toilet/ shower blocks must be accompanied by an adult. 

Minimum Stays

  1. We have a 3 night minimum stay for the duration of Peak Season on our touring pitches. 1-2 night stays are subject to availability (non- electric).

Cars, Trailers, Boats, Jet Ski’s and Commercial Vehicles

  1. We allow 1 car per pitch.
  2. Large vans, extra cars, boats, trailers, jet ski’s and commercial vehicles must park in the car park. There is a small charge per night for any extra vehicles.
  3. We have a lot of wildlife living on the park, for their safety, and the safety of other guests, please do not exceed the maximum speed limit of 5mph (including the driveway).

Dogs

  1. Dogs are welcome (with well- behaved owners).
  2. Dogs must always be kept on a short lead around the park. There is a designated area for exercising your dog.
  3. Do not allow your dog to chase the wildlife on the park, this is their home.
  4. Please pick up after your dog and use the bins provided to dispose of any waste.
  5. If your dog is caught off lead, is disturbing other guests or generally causing a nuisance, we reserve the right to request that you leave the park without a refund.
  6. No dogs are allowed in the toilets, shower blocks or laundry/ dishwashing area for any reason. There is a dedicated dog wash located at the end of the ablutions block.
  7. Dogs must not be left unattended for any reason, this is irresponsible.

Barrier

  1. The barrier is operated using your vehicle registration. Upon check-in, you will be added to our system. The barrier will open automatically for you as you approach the entrance.
  2. The barrier camera does not recognise “show plates”. If you have show plates or any other custom plates you will be asked to use the car park.
  3. The barrier is closed for ENTRY between 10pm and 8am to minimise disturbance to other guests. During the closed hours’ please use the car park.

Noise

  1. The use of generators is strictly prohibited.
  2. Please keep TVs and radios at a level that does not disturb other guests- quiet time from 11pm. 
  3. Please always be considerate to other guests.

Security

  1. We have CCTV in operation 24/7 in all areas of the site.
  2. In the best interest of our guests, we perform a nightly walk around (this may not suit everyone so please ensure you are happy with this before booking).
  3. During your stay at the park, please respect all staff, other guests and their property.
  4. Antisocial, drunken behaviour or drug use will not be tolerated- you will be asked to leave the park immediately without refund.

BBQs and Fire Pits

  1. BBQs are permitted; however, they must not be turned into an open fire after use.
  2. BBQs must be kept off the ground/ grass. Blocks and bricks are available at reception for you to borrow during your stay.
  3. Fire Pits are permitted but must be kept off the ground with a water tray underneath. Fire Pits must be at least 1m away from a source of ignition (e.g. gas locker, awning etc).

Disclaimer

  1. The management will not accept responsibility for loss, theft, damage or injury to any person or their property whilst on the premises.
  2. Any theft or damage to property at Huntick Farm Caravan Park will be chargeable.
  3. Huntick Farm Caravan Park recommends that customers take out their own travel insurance.

PARK RULES 2021

Pitches

  1. Our pitches allow for your caravan/motorhome/trailer tent, an awning and a car. You must pitch correctly in order to adhere to our fire regs. Any unit pitched incorrectly will be asked to reposition. You will be shown the correct positioning on arrival.
  2. During periods of inclement weather, you may be asked to park your car in the main car park rather than on your pitch.
  3. Continental caravans must be pitched with the A-frame facing outwards.
  4. It may not be possible for a continental caravan to have an awning.
  5. Only breathable ground sheets may be used.
  6. Awnings must be securely fastened.
  7. Wind brakes may only be used if you do not have an awning.
  8. No washing or washing lines may be hung from any trees or branches.
  9. You must not wash your caravan/motorhome/trailer tent, or car on pitch.

  3. We have a lot of wildlife living on and around the park. For their safety and wellbeing, the maximum speed limit around the park (including the driveway) is 5mph.

Dogs

  1. Dogs are welcome with well behaved owners. (Up to a maximum of 4 dogs per booking.)
  2. Dogs must always be kept on a short lead around the park. There is a designated area for exercising your dog.
  3. Do not allow your dog to chase wildlife on the park.
  4. You must pick up after you dog and use the bins provided to dispose of any waste.
  5. If your dog is caught off lead, is disturbing other guests or generally causing a nuisance, we reserve the right to request that you leave the park without a refund.

 SEASONAL RULES-  Seasonal rules are in addition to the general park rules

  1. The area around the pitch must be kept clean, tidy free from litter, and the grass maintained. There will be a £10.00 charge each time we need to cut the grass on the pitch or remove rubbish from the pitch.
  2. You may only use hook-up cables that confirm to British standards. Cobbled together and DIY leads are strictly prohibited.
  3. Power cuts caused by overloading will be charged at £10.00 per re-set.
  4. Hook-up cables must not be buried. We are not liable for any damage to cables whilst mowing or strimming.
  5. Damage to our equipment by items left around the pitch will be chargeable.
  6. Hook-up leads must be removed from the bollard whilst the pitch is unoccupied.
  7. Gas bottles and water taps must be turned off whilst the pitch is unoccupied.
  8. Only grey waste may be emptied into the drain on pitch. Chemical toilet waste emptied into the drain will incur a charge of up to £600.
  9. You are responsible for any connections to taps, any leaks, overfilling or flooding will be charged at 10p per litre.
  10. You are responsible for the gas and electricity safety of your caravan.
  11. Gas bottles must fit inside the gas locker of your unit.
  12. The caravan/ motorhome owner is responsible for the security of the unit.
  13. You may not under any circumstances register this address with any official bodies. E.g., DVLA, HMRC, insurance, etc. You must have an alternative residential postal address for any official documents.
  14. Huntick Farm Caravan Park is not your official home.
  15. You may have general letters E.g., birthday cards, or parcels delivered to the park. It is your responsibility to check at reception during normal office hours’. We will not deliver post to you.
  16. You may have 1 small storage box/ shed. It must be located behind your caravan/ motorhome. We are not liable for any damage or theft.
  17. The bins provided are for normal household rubbish only. Large bulky items, (E.g., awnings, chairs, tents etc) will be charged at £10.00 per item.
  18. Repairs/ maintenance and servicing may only be carried out with prior consent.
  19. You may not carry out any DIY using power tools without prior consent.
  20. No car repairs may be carried out anywhere on the park without prior consent.
  21. 7-month seasonal customers must inform reception of arrival / departure date to confirm with the current fire regulations.
  22. 12-month seasonal customers must inform us of any dates the caravan/ motorhome will be unoccupied to abide by the current fire regulations.
  23. Misconduct or breach of park rules will result in termination of the contract and being asked to leave the park without notice or redress.

 We reserve the right to change or update the park rules at any time, and you agree to abide by the most resent version. Please regularly check online for any changes/ updates.

 Please do not visit if you have symptoms of COVID 19 or have been exposed to the virus.

Please do not use our park to self-isolate.

We will be implementing a contactless check-in system. Please do not arrive before 2 pm.

Please do not meet or gather with friends in a social group other than as permitted by current government guidelines.

Sadly we are unable to allow day visitors to the site.

We will have our unisex toilet/shower open for use and will be enhancing the cleaning throughout the day, but please try to use your own facilities wherever possible.

Please bring your own soap, hand gel, toilet roll, etc. 

Please maintain your distance from other guests around the park, and please do not cut across other guests' pitches.

Please vacate your pitch by 11 am in order for us to disinfect bollards and ready the pitch for the next guest.

Please let us know if anyone in your party develops symptoms of COVID 19 in the following 14 days after your departure.
